Acts chapter 10 is pivotal moment in the book. At the beginning of Acts, much of the action is happening in Jerusalem. But now, the Gospel is beginning to spread further. Recall Acts 1: The Gospel will spread to Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth. This prompts us to remember that the Gospel is for everyone and for anyone. Even in the midst of persecution, the Gospel mission is accomplished. Witnesses proclaim what they have seen, and through God’s providence, the Church grows.
