Adam grew up in a Christian home as a pastor’s kid and the youngest of three children. Adam made a profession of faith in Christ at 9 years old, and was baptized. Adam started college attending the University of Texas at Austin in music, and later, transferred to the Juilliard School in New York City and in three years completed his Bachelor’s degree in music and voice on a full scholarship then earned his Master’s degree in Music Performance from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. After graduating, Adam apprenticed at the Santa Fe and Pittsburgh Opera programs, and then settled in San Francisco, where he performed in regional opera companies and taught voice in college.
Adam and Esther, his wife of over 20 years, met at church while living in San Francisco and they have one son, Jordan Fei-Yeung, who is attending Wheaton College. Adam has been working for the past twelve years at Target Health, a NYC-based, clinical research organization, as Director of Regulatory Affairs, where he provides regulatory strategy and guidance to clients for submissions and interactions with the FDA, helping them with their development programs and to attain approval for drug and medical device related therapies. Along with Esther, the focus for many recent years has been on raising their son, Jordan, and bringing him up in the faith. By far, Adam considers his family among God’s greatest blessings in his life and is thankful and blessed to be a part of Christ Church NYC.
