An Invitation to Pray for Gospel-Centered Ministry Around the World

GAFCON – Jerusalem, June 17-22

In just a few weeks time, Anglican brothers and sisters who love the Lord Jesus will be gathering in Jerusalem to study, plan, sharpen, and encourage one another for the sake of gospel-centered ministry. These brothers and sisters will be gathering from all over the world for what is known as GAFCON (the Global Anglican Future Conference).

This conference brings together the leaders of the majority of the world’s Anglicans. This year’s conference will be the largest international gathering of Anglicans in 50 years with nearly 2,000 delegates from over 50 countries.

I would like to invite you to pray for this important moment. Whether you are formally Anglican or not, this gathering is an important moment for the sake of gospel ministry throughout the world. Anglicanism is believed to be the largest Protestant denomination in the world – the impact it can have for the sake of Christ is huge. Let’s pray that the Lord will use this moment to build unity among his people and that there will be an ever-increasing commitment to exalt the Lord Jesus among every tribe, language, people, and nation.
