Fundamentals of Reading the Bible Well
Please join us in welcoming Rev. David Camera, Senior Minister of River Oaks Presbyterian Church (PCA) who will lead 5 sessions on the Fundamentals of Reading the Bible Well for our Men’s Impact Event. David will help us to better read, understand, and apply God’s Word. All men are invited. Lunch provided.
David serves as an instructor with the Charles Simeon Trust which exists to promote the growth of the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world by training up the next generation of Biblical expositors. He has been involved with the Trust from its founding in 2001 and began leading workshops in 2004.
David has been in pastoral ministry for over 16 yrs. He holds an MA in Theology from Wheaton College and an MDiv from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. David is also a graduate of the Cornhill Training Course in London, England. He previously served on the pastoral staffs at Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, Alabama, and Holy Trinity Church in Chicago, Illinois. He has been married to Gwen for over 20 years and they have 3 children. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry at Westminster Theological Seminary.
