Impact: Training Women for Gospel Discipleship

Impact: Training Women for Gospel Discipleship

Impact is an event to help train the women of Christ Church to exposit and teach the Bible.

Topic: Biblical Exposition – How to understand, love and teach God’s word

Speaker: Colleen McFadden, Bible teacher from the Charles Simeon Trust

Colleen McFadden trains women Bible teachers with the Charles Simeon Trust – a ministry devoted to equipping the next generation of Bible expositors. She loves to see women better equipped to read the bible for themselves, communicate the gospel in one-to-one Bible reading relationships, and to teach the bible in formal contexts. Once she started learning Biblical truths through the expositional preaching of her pastors she developed a passion for learning and teaching the Bible in this way.

She and her husband live in the Philadelphia area where she helps lead the women’s ministry at Seven Mile Road Church. Colleen earned a BS in Business Administration from the University of Illinois and an MDiv from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. She was in corporate sales and marketing for several years, before coming to work for the trust. She also serves on the board of Matthias Media.
