Becky is a graduate of Azusa Pacific University, where she obtained a degree in English education, so she loves reading and teaching stories. She also loves to travel and experience new cultures, so after college, she moved to China and taught English as a second language to university students. After a couple of years, God led her to New York City, where she continued to teach ESL, originally online and then in-person to adults in the Bronx. She also found her husband, Ryan, here through mutual friends who attended Christ Church with him. She became a member of the church shortly after. When it was clear to Becky that her time teaching ESL was coming to an end, God opened a door for her to become the children’s ministry coordinator at Christ Church, which brought together her love of education with her love of God.
